WHAT IS PEEL AND STICK WALLPAPER?
Our peel and stick wallpaper is made from a canvas textured vinyl with an adhesive back similar to a sticker. The paper lining is peeled away so the adhesive backing can stick to the wall. Our innovative adhesive allows the paper to hold well, but can be removed from the wall without damage.
HOW DO I PREPARE MY WALL?
Our paper works great on most paint finishes, though certain stain blocking/resistant paints may need to be primed over before application of any type of peel and stick wallpaper as they are designed to resist anything from sticking to them. If this is the case, simply apply a coat of primer and allow to dry for 24 hours. When installing any peel and stick paper, consult the paint manufacturer for compatibility. We recommend smooth surfaces. If your wall is rough or highly textured, adhesives may not be able to fully adhere to the wall. We cannot be held responsible if any wallpaper applied to a bumpy texture or a wall with incompatible paint does not stick. We recommend trying a sample first!
DO I NEED ANY ADDITIONAL GLUES OR ADHESIVES TO APPLY PAPERBIRD WALLPAPER?
Not at all! It's 100% self-adhesive, just peel and stick!
CAN THE WALLPAPER BE APPLIED TO A FRESHLY PAINTED WALL?
It is best to allow the paint to cure approximately 30 days before applying wallpaper.
IS YOUR WALLPAPER WATER RESISTANT/ WASHABLE?
Yes! Our wallpaper is water resistant and can be gently cleaned using soap and water. Avoid using chemical cleaners as they may harm the wallpaper.
CAN IT BE USED ON A TEXTURED SURFACE?
Our product works best on smooth walls. Rough, highly textured surfaces may inhibit adhesion, we recommend trying a sample if you are unsure.
CAN YOUR WALLPAPER BE HUNG IN A BATHROOM?
Yes! As long as there is ventilation and it is not being directly and consistently hit by water (i.e in the shower)
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
Your order will usually ship within 2-8 days of being placed. All U.S. wallpaper orders are shipped free via USPS Priority Shipping. Samples typically ship between 1-4 days of being placed. Samples are shipped free via USPS First Class Mail.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Because our wallpaper is made to order just for you, we cannot offer returns. We recommend ordering samples of the wallpaper if you are unsure of how it might look in your home. We will offer an exchange for any items that are not completely satisfactory. Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of the date of receipt. Please contact customer service at support@paperbirdhome.com for return authorization. Items returned for exchange must be in perfect, unused condition with the backing still intact. Paperbird does not offer shipping or handling credit on items returned for exchange unless it is due to our error (you received the wrong item or a defective item not due to shipping error).
